by Car and Driver: http://www.caranddriver.com/news/car/11q3/cadillac_ciel_concept-car_news The original 4-door convertible concept. http://blog.caranddriver.com/cadill...ing-a-top-on-caddys-stunning-droptop-concept/ Sedan rendering. Although the design screams '60s Lincoln Continental, if Cadillac builds something like this, they'll have a winner.
awesome. I like everything except the grille. I hope they grow some balls and make this. like the poster on car and driver said: "it may not be your style, but at least this car has some."
saw this a couple days ago... looks damn amazing, wheel base is crazy long, and this thing is longer than the escalade
Yeah they copied that also from the 1962 Lincoln Continental. It's a good looking car but only because it's taking lot's of cues from the Continental.
Apparently when it was unvieled at Pebble Beach this year, everybody thought it was awesome (complete with audience gasps and exlamations). If they carry the design forward into production, they'll have a winner.
I must be one of the few that doesn't care for the Ciel. It's grown on me since I first saw it, but, eh... more retro. The Converj is supposed to go into production as the ELR hybrid.
Didn't realize they were going to base the ELR off the Converj concept. I had understood the ELR was basically going to be a luxury version of the Volt (built on the same platform in fact) to compete with Tesla.
Did the Allante not have four doors? Interesting how relatively quickly they gave up that, considering how long those Mistress Mercedes lasted. I remember Jaguar also had a sporty model, XJS, that was convertible as well?
