Please, just let no Texans players get shot after the game.

    I dunno.

I have a feeling Colts will have the first pick next year and draft Andrew Luck.

Too soon? Nah, probably not. Bay Area fans are a joke. Not a joke like you'd never f*** with them, but a joke as in they are a bunch of dickheads.

That game might be canceled because of Hurricane Irene

Wow, watched the Eagles vs. Browns and the two rookies that started on the OL (Kelce at center and Watkins at RG) looked completely lost and Vick took a lot of bad hits. DO NOT WANT!!!

I saw some of the highlights. Vick getting smacked around like that in pre-season is scary. Is your O-line really that bad?

If Matt Stafford is healthy the entire year, I think the Lions will finish 9-7, maybe better, and have an outside chance to make the playoffs. He's got what it takes to be a franchise QB but he has to stay on the field.

The Falcons gave up on the run pretty early, Matt Ryan had 42 attempts in the game. I think he only played the first half.

Like what I see from Stafford, went right after the Pats early and often. The Lions have a nice complimentary weapon in Pettigrew who not to many people know had over 70 catches last season. Burleson dropped a gorgeous TD pass. Gotta be better than that. Also if Jahvid Best can't get between the tackles they are in for a lot of throwing.

From a fantasy perspective I'd pick Stafford as probably my 9th QB if it weren't for his glass shoulder.

The Packers-Colts game had a nice ending.

with 3 mins Colts were leading by 8, then Green Bay scores and goes for 2 and got it. (game tied) then with :40 secs left, Green Bay does an onside kick and recovers it, and ends up winning with a 50 yard FG.

I also have to wonder.....was last year a fluke for Vick?

The guy flat out dominated the league last year (and good god almighty that MNF game @Was). But....he's looked pretty bad in his decision making and accuracy this year, looking more like the Falcon that was a forever 75-Rating QB. He had never sniffed the marks he met last year.

Of the two preseason games that matter, Vick had ratings of 14 and 71.

Is he falling back to earth?

Are defenses catching up after he caught the league by surprise?

Vick's first six games last year: 111 Rating, including two well over 110

Vick ran into a Giants front seven that give him fits after his absurd Deadskins game, which led off:
Vick's second 6 games: 90 Rating, only one game crossing 100 (103.4) and finishing his year with the Vikings' front seven giving him a lot of trouble (74 QBR, 2 lost fumbles, INT, 6 sacks).

Playoffs versus Green Bay, Vick was contained to the tune of an 80 Rating and only 32 yards scrambling.

I'm not closing the book on him at all....but I've got to wonder if he's going to be as magical this year. I get the sense that a formula is there if you've got the right personnel.

If youre looking for Vick to have a passer rating of 100 or better, then you are kidding yourself....If 3000 yrds passing and 600 yards rushing seems like he's losing it, then every black QB in the nation will be in a no-win situation....

Vick better stay healthy. Without him, the Eagles are done. Combine a weak O-line with Vick's habit of playing physical & taking punishment and Philly fans have a lot to be concerned about despite the star-studded offseason moves.

Not sure what you're trying to say.

He did have a 100 rating last year to go with the 3000p/675r yards.

It's preseason after a lockout, but he's looked a lot more like Atlanta Vick than last season's Vick. And even Vick last year seemed to run into trouble after exploding onto the season.

Just trying to figure out what we might see this year.

    Hmmmm. Perhaps a poll!
