HP TouchPad $90

lol. I went to Best Buy to look for some camera stuff. Once I get in, I see about 50-70 people standing in a line by customer service. This was at 4:30pm. I ask what it was about... "HP Touchpad". I guess they all got wind that some Best Buys would be getting shipments today (well, throughout the day) and were waiting, hoping to score. I just chuckled and left.

 

Had my Onsale order for 32GB cancelled today. Back to the drawing board lol

 

Ditto, I should have tried ordering at a few other places when they sprung up Sunday afternoon.

 

i got my confirmation email at 4:42 and i ordered the 32g

Put me in the Amazon/OnSale cancellation crowd. I ordered the 16gb Sunday.

I saw on Twitter that Best Buys would be receiving more this week so dropped by the Sharpstown store. The guy there told me they had 60 in yesterday and were of course sold out.

 

Best buy at bunker hill has 90 or so pads... In line... 20 people in line.

 

Are Walmarts carrying these as well?

As I am in line now... Yes. Word on the street is 90 pads. But it is a UPS shipment so its a crapshoot if it is on this truck.. but I AK infront of an employee... So I would think it is legit

 

Best buy in atascosita will have 55 hp touchpads today. Sucks I'm working. FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!

 

How are y'all finding out where there are touchpads??

 

There were people on SlickDeals who have access to inventories telling people since last night which Best Buys would have Touchpads coming in. If you posted the store number, they would post the incoming quantities of 16gb's and 32gb's.

for those who got their orders shipped this afternoon, did you just have "shipping soon" and it randomly switched + you got an email or did you call or something? mine has stayed as shipping soon and my credit card charge has been pending this entire time, no word from onsale and nothing on amazon. this is so idiotic.
