You've got a defensive team like a mother effer. Allen can and still will create a shot if needed to. Every position can hold their own defensively against anyone else's. Sure you lack some scoring options, but when you're holding teams to low to mid 80's, which yours certainly would, you have a chance at a player or two getting hot (Gasol, Collison) and taking a few wins.
Maggette and Richardson are not sub-par defensively. At the very least, I'd put them on par with JR Smith/J.Salmons. And having a defensive PF like Wilcox and a defensive PF/C in Garnett (and to a lesser extent Nene) makes up for a lot. Except for jameer nelson, all my players have adequate size. curry (6'3), jason richardson (6'6), maggette (6'6), wilcox (6'10), nene (6'11), garnett (7'). i purposely constructed my lineup so i wouldnt have to have undersized SG/SFs or PF/C's.
I think you should have held on to Bosh. You've basically committed to running your offense through a guy that averaged 11.7ppg last year. That said, your team is going to be play very good D and if you put Grant Hill in the starting lineup, you'll have 5 good passers on the floor at the same time and two wings who can shot and move extremely well without the ball.

Thank you for your analysis. I wanted to create a defensive team with good scoring options. My only concern is that I wanted to have a someone that creates a mismatch for other teams. I really wanted Gallinari as my backup forward, but he got taken before my pick and I couldn't pass on Grant Hill.

No way your team is bottom 3. But you would probably do well by trading Marion for a rebounding PF like Kris Humphries
Richardson's fine at SF, but his lateral quickness has never been great. I don't think he can stay in front of most 2s. Maggette we'll just have to disagree on. I don't think his D has been any good since he left the Clippers. I do agree that your team's size isn't an issue.
all 24 of these teams would excel if they had to face a regular nba team. you have no interior size and therefore subpar defense. right now, i have your roster at holiday/jackson/durant/blair/lee with marion off the bench. what kind of offense are you planning on running? kevin durant can't consistently create his own shot unless its a jumper from 25 feet away. also, you're at an inherent disadvantage b/c as of right now, you have 6 total players and 1 draft pick left. you pretty much have to get a point guard unless you plan on playing holiday the entire game. if you do, thats a guaranteed loss. that means your rotations are: pg: holiday/tba sg/sf: jackson/durant/marion pf: blair c: lee you can't put marion at PF. if we played against each other and you tried that, i'd put both garnett and nene into the game and force you to use marion to guard one of them. and marion would get abused. your lack of depth really hurts you.

evans gets you points, but not efficiently. efficiency is more important than sheer numbers. evans has no jumper. rondo has no jumper. a smart defensive team would play off them, pack the paint, and force them into perimeter shots. you can get away with having 1 of them if you also have another guard that compensates for their deficiencies. but playing both of them together is just asking for trouble.
There's a couple of decent centers left. Is it cool if I wait til the end of the round to see if they're still there before I agree to your trade, arjun? Unless you're cool with Collison and my 8th for Jrue? I get my guy, you get a good PG in return, and you get that elusive 8th pick back.
LOL has the thought ever occured that kevin durant can bring up the ball with jackson and marion at the 2 and 3 for some time?? and i think you are not even mentioning STEPHEN JACKSON in any of this...or giving any credit to who david lee and what he can be playing with jrue creating and durant and jackson knocking down shots. and i am sorry...but GARNETT TODAY and nene will NOT dominate blair and lee the way you are saying....blair is a tough guy...hes also 6'9"...do not make the mistake of thinkign 2" in height of your forwards means your team will dominate mine in the interior.. jrue running point, with stephen jackson at the 2, who put up 19 pts a game last year, with kevin durant...mvp candidate...and david lee (17 n 10) and dejuan blair being a work horse inside...not to mention shawn marion coming in off the bench giving us a spark and versatility...ur joking if you think your team can dominate mine and shawn marion CAN play the 4 for some time...how can you even say he'd get dominated by kevin garnett..garnett can barely put up more than 20 ppg these days no matter whose guarding him..
na..i'd only do it for haywood..i mean essentially you would be upgrading your starting pointguard and downgrading your back up center...
kevin durant isnt a good ball handler. you saw the playoffs, right? he was unable to create his own shot. he'll eventually develop some ball-handling skills, but right now, they're very weak. but does that means you're going to try to use durant at pg? most pgs in this league would run circles around him. and what makes stephen jackson so special? he's a fine defender, but he shot 41% from the field and 34% from the 3 point line. underwhelming offensively. a 2" height advantage might be ok. but blair is 6'7. that's a 4-5 inch height advantage that nene/garnett has. and like duncan, garnett is still an elite player in limited minutes. blair and david lee may be good rebounders, but they're 6'7 and 6'9. garnett and nene are 7' and 6'11. i'd say garnett/nene would have the decisive advantage. and when they get tired, 6'10 wilcox comes in to relieve them. garnett chooses not to score 20 ppg b/c the celtics also have a few guys named paul pierce and ray allen. anyways, don't look only at the numbers. you have to consider how efficiently they get those numbers.
