Her behavior disgusted me therefore I found it disgusting. Would I also find hitting him disgusting? Yes. Could she have done far worse? Yes. A cold shower or the hot sauce on its own I wouldn't condone, but I might be persuaded to understand. But the way she talked and belittled that kid and the fact that she taped it to get on Dr. Phil is reprehensible and disgusting. Still a prosecutor and a jury of her peers found her guilty of child abuse. I don't know what you constitute disgusting, but I find any form of child abuse disgusting.

The responses on this thread that what she did was OK is just sickening. I would never do that to any of my kids. I understand that she could've done worse, but this is not the right way to discipline a child. This is why there's a **** load of serial killers in our country....this is basically what she's doing to the child, having him all emotionally screwed up when he grows up.
