heh...bestbuy.com down again... this time "updating" their web site.

 

I ordered a 32gb touchpad from the HP website Friday night around 11. I got a confirmation email Saturday but the website still shows in processing. Did I miss out?

 

Staples, in Nacogdoches. They had about 10 Saturday and sold out. I got the last one.

 

Any other Best Buy customers get their TouchPads yet? Or some communication from Best Buy that the orders will be shipped or not?

I am riding out the wave, still no word whether my order from Sunday AM will fulfilled or will be canceled. I continue to check on the bestbuy web site which continues to give the same status. Guessing Best Buy is (1) hoping they come up with more inventory to fulfill orders, or (2) putting off giving people the bad news or (3) hoping people will either give up or forget they placed their orders.

The Best Buy store around my house told me they didn't expect to restock at that location.

Online may be different story.

 

I ordered mine at 7 a.m. Sunday and yesterday I got a confirmation saying it had been shipped. It arrives Thursday!

I took the bait anyways since Woot recommended it on their site.. Who knows maybe Erwin computers are desperate for sale, and I use Google/checkout just to be safe.. I'm crossing my fingers and hope it goes through... I will post updates/confirmation if it's legit or not...

Hey, good news for you. Was it a 16GB or 32GB?

I rec'd my confirmation at 6:33am Sunday... and it appears orders placed around the time are being fulfilled, so hopefully mine will be too.

 

My 32gb, ordered slightly before 8am ET on Sunday left Columbus, OH this morning and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

My 32gb ordered for pickup Sunday morning around 7am ET is ready for pickup (I just received my first reminder email since I haven't picked it up yet).

I ordered 16gbs in the same manner. The pickup is a no go, and it looks like the one for shipping will be a no go.

 

I guess it's like paypal but better.. Here is a description about their services...
