The 2010-2011 season is a baseline for projected performance in 2011-2012. Since Shaq is retired, there is no need to use his 2010-2011 season as a baseline for projected performance. We know his performance in 2011-2012 will be 0's across the board.
It'd be cool to bring this thread back up after the season to see who would win based on their actual performances.
I want to point out that Garnett had arthroscopic surgery on his knee prior to the 09-10 season. That's why his numbers dropped in 2009-2010. But his knee is fully recovered and his 2010-2011 numbers are close to his 07-08 numbers (the year he won DPOY).
i got the impression that since this thread is call ALL NBA CURRENT DRAFT and this thread was created during the offseason. Meaning, rookies are eligible but not recommended and retired players are not.
Come on now. That's horrible for Torque. At this point, if you're hoping to trade picks for players, you need to be paying a premium and expecting to receive players less than all-star caliber.
Basically. That's true. But he still has worse knees than lets say Dwight Howard. He also can't be asked to carry the load every night. This draft is obviously based on last season and current performance is based on end of last year's performance. So you can say that this draft is for end of last year with players getting basic rehab time.
