Movie was GOOD. Looking for a night out for fun, go to FRIGHT NIGHT! Colin Farrell owns this movie.

Not really. There's elements from the original but more like a re-imagining.

Yep, well done with just the right amount of homage and new material.

I really enjoyed it, Farrell was fantastic as Jerry the Vampire and Anton was perfect for Charley.

Nope from the trailer it is clearly not the same. The original you might not appreciate if you didn't watch it growing up. It's more that it brings back nostalgia now. If you watch it now it might just seem a bit cheesy and corny.

Solid remake, Farrell is pretty damn impressive in this role.

I've seen good reviews about this movie but man did it perform bad at the box office. I've heard it has a good mix of scare and funny, true?

it was a pretty slow weekend at the movies in general but i'd imagine a lot of people were skeptical on the first weekend. I wouldn't be surprised to see it do better next week based of the positive reviews. It does have a relatively small budget though, $30 mill, so they don't have to do too much to make back their money
