how so? i'm not particularly high on marion. i still have 4 undrafted players ahead of him on my depth chart. rowdyricky upgrades his starting pg (and therefore his backup pg as well), i downgrade my backup pg but upgrade my draft spots, arjun gets his extra draft pick back. what's not to like?
I would like to help. Rowdyrick in Jrue Holiday Rowdyrick out Darren Collison, 6(#1) 8(#1) arjun in Darren Collison, 7(#13), 7(#15) arjun out Jrue Holiday, 8#17) spooner in 6(#1), 8(#1) sponner out 7(#13), 7(#15)
Thanks for your suggestion, but that would leave me 1 player short and arjun 1 player too many. I'd do that trade with my 5th or 6th. EDIT- I see your updated post. I think I'd be cool with that. No one gets raped in that deal, and it seems fair to everyone. Good ish.
arjun logged off. Hopefully he gets back on before my 24th pick to accept or decline Spooner's trade proposal.
Seriously?!?! Here's your part of his trade: Rowdyrick in Jrue Holiday 8(#17) Rowdyrick out Darren Collison, 6(#1) 8(#1) Essentially, you upgrade your starting pg from Collison to Holiday, you lose your 6th(#1) and downgrade your 8th(#1) to 8(#17). With my offer, you upgrade your starting pg from Collison to Jameer Nelson (who I rank ahead of Holiday), upgrade your backup pg from Dragic to Collison, and only lose your 6(#1). Your 8(1) remains untouched. Yet my offer rapes you while Spooner's offer is fair? Compared to my offer, his offer leaves you with a weaker pg rotation and an inferior 8th round pick...
I like Jameer, but I just don't think he'd have those numbers without Dwight, and I think Jrue is the best PG out of him, Collison, and Jameer. I also wanted to keep Dragic as my backup because he is a combo guard that can "relieve" both Collison/Jrue and Ray Allen. I'm essentially trading a 5th, high 6th, and high 8th for a 3rd and a mid 8th. I'm fine with that.
Jameer is fully capable of creating his own shot whenever he wants. Without Dwight, he would get more touches and his numbers would go up. Here's the advanced stats for Jameer/Jrue Jrue Holiday: TS% 52.5%; TRB% 6.6; AST% 29%; TOV% 20.8; ORTG 104; DRTG 106 J. Nelson: TS% 54.8%; TRB% 5.7; AST% 33.7%; TOV% 17.6; ORTG 109; DRTG 104 So compared to Holiday, Nelson is a better shooter, better at assists, turns the ball over less, better offensively, and better defensively.
Just for fun. Rowdyrick in Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez Rowdyrick out Darren Collison, Marc Gasol 8(#1) arjun in Darren Collison, 7(#13), 7(#15) arjun out Jrue Holiday, 8#17) spooner in Marc Gasol, 8(#1) 8(#17) sponner out Brook Lopez 7(#13), 7(#15)
Fair enough. Would you be willing to do replace Dragic with Collison? Wekko in D.Collison, S.Marion, 6th(1) Wekko out J.Nelson, 7th(12), 8th(13) RowdyRicky in J.Nelson RowdyRicky out D.Collison, 6th(1) Arjun in 7th(12), 8th(13) Arjun out S.Marion
