1. sounds like a tenuous "hypocrite" blast. There used to be a lot of Hollywood videos in my area. I saw families, kids, etc. in there all the time. This is not like an adult book store at all.

2. if Obama or any major Democrat groups start piling on for this, it will only galvanize GOP support for Perry. No point with the primaries still months away. Let your enemies destroy each other.

I chose not to click the link (which apparently doesn't work anyway) thanks to the warning. So I may be ill-informed.

I must be an idiot because I'm not familiar with Movie Gallery or their reliance on p*rn. I am familiar with Hollywood video, which seems pretty innocent. And for such a nominal investment (for him), should we assume he even looked into the company's operations very deeply?

As for conservative republicans who will see him as a hypocrite, I'd like to hear from one of those instead of the assumptions of a political adversary, Surely one of our resident conservatives can back you up here. Anyone yet? I'll ask my wife, but she already doesn't like Perry, so I don't know if that'll count.

 

Well Stupidmoniker, who is an avowed conservative, did weigh in and basically said this isn't much of a big deal. I am inclined to agree with him but it still wouldn't surprise me if this was brought up by one of Perry's Republican opponents.
