With the amount of people buying this, developers might start making apps for it again and then boom hps biggest problem is solved.
They had the 16 GB models at 129.99 and the 32 GB at 149.99. I got up this morning even after a rough because I did not want to miss out on this deal. Even with the lack of app support it is still awesome.
Just got back got my price adjusted at walmart. The manager was in shock she kept asking if I saw any more last night or where she could get one for that price herself. She said she wished she knew too
I am going to be mad if hp doesn't ship me my touchpad. Now it looks it's sold out everywhere. Hp should have have sold this at two to hundred dollars in the first place. They would have got some actual traction.
me too, still no confirmation email but finally got the email confirming my student account at 3 am last night.
Go to order status and if it says processing your fine. If it says verifying they're checking stock and you may or may not get one.
Are you sure? Some guy on slickdeals called the customer support and they said its the other way around.
yes. double if i'm not mistaking, but that's still not a lot compared to apple's ipad market. some of webos' phone apps will work on the touchpad, but not many. folks buying this device must be content with software as is. i'd take hp's word with a grain of salt when they announced that they're still supporting the software, but webosinternals (homebrew) has pledged their ongoing support (overclocking is supposedly badass). i was tweeting dave2000 that i don't believe you can even find a wifi kindle at 100 bucks. the touchpad has one.
WOW awesome deal, grats to the folks who got it! I'm glad I didn't see it- I would have bought several and I'm broke.
Dont worry hippo, there will be more. If I find any ill let you know. My orders say item bring processed. I should be good right?
