This trailer looks like more of the same along with the terribly passé wirework action but its got Beckinsale looking hot again, vampires and werewolves and some other nonsense. wtf??? i actually like the other underworld movies and thought they ended it well.. .but this is a bit of a stretch... looks like garbage with a stupid plot... so cliche.. "something more powerful than all of us" yes yes there is always something more powerful who somehow dies in some sort of stupid way. mehhh DVD rental
I'm not one to criticize a plot/script in action movies, I mean, you get action first. However, based on the trailer, this looks like generic future vampire movie....they could have plugged Blade or Alice (resident evil) in as the lead and made the same move. I'll still watch it though.
yup i think thats why its going to be crap. The first 3 at least revolved around the underworld characters with Victors back story. The lycans backstory, etc etc.. IT was actually pretty interesting in addition to all the action. You are right this one looks like a generic future vampire action flick where you can replace the characters with anyone.

wordaapp! Rise of the Lycans was lame because of no Beckinsale, but I was still hooked into the series. I love me some Kate Beckinsale!!
So basically Evolution had her and Michael free, having won the war against the Lycans, yadda, yadda, yadda. So what on earth happened between then and now? I liked the first Underworld a whole lot. But Evolution really sucked and I didn't even bother with Lycans because it seemed to piss on the mythology set up in the first film.

I like how the revert back to the Lycan being evil when through out the series the Vampires are really the evil b*st*rds I thought Rise of the Lykan was the better movie It and the 1st one . .. the one where she becomes a daywalker was just plain stupid Rocket River
