[Movie] Conan the Barbarian (2011)

I believe there was a leaked script a few years ago for the long awaited King Conan movie, where an older Conan has a couple of sons fighting over his kingdom and he has to come out of retirement and kick butt or something.

With Arnold being the Governator, I think it got kicked to the curb.

 

I watched the original Conan with Arnold from '82 again... and it was the shiznit. I don't know how this guy is ever going to top that.

So awesome that I think he deserves a nickname. CoCo or ConeBone...

 

Where's the egg the entire time he's fighting the other group of guys? He's screaming and yelling, etc. And then at the end he spits it out like he's had it in his mouth all along.

Just got out of a screening man that movie was complete crap. Easily the worst movie I have seen this summer after hangover 2. I am glad I didn't pay for it and I got a cool looking Conan bottle opener out of it. I mean Conan doesn't even say Krum once in the movie WTF?! Bogus

 

That sucks. Hate to see classics effed up.

 

Can durvasa tell me if the previous 2 posts were jokes?

 

Least liked actor in GOT. He seemed more like a roided and grunting tranny than a barbarian.

 

Why would Conan say Krum? Is that Crom's cousin?

 

I watched it last night. What a terrible movie. I didn't expect much but it was even worse.

I was discussing with my wife that they couldn't make it worse. There was no character development. the acting was terrible (even the famous actors in the movie were bad). There was no story.

At the end of the movie I really couldn't care less whether they lived or died. Just terrible.

Also why make another Conan movie. There are much better fantasy stories that deserve to be made in a movie. But if they make such a movie, please let the people who created this movie not even close to that production.

 

That's pretty much all I've heard across the board about this movie. If they are going to do a redux why do such a terrible job?
