Everything on your list has been reality for the greater portion of most Americans' lives. Change is a difficult thing, especially when the direction of the change is decline. People want what they've seen, what they were basically promised and grew up expecting. Hell, who am I kidding, at this point, I'd just like the money I loaned to SS back.
I get the feeling it would be a fun place to visit but not to live especially once it gets overrun by organized crime.
I loved the President's response after trying to reason with this knuckle dragger "It doesn't sound like you are interested in listening.*"
About 7 months late, but like the guy you responded to. Tax cuts in themselves are not something that gets paid for. The deficit that comes as a result of not cutting spending to compensate for the tax cuts is what needs to be paid for. Although I am of the mind that the average person simply doesn't pay enough taxes and to think that Republicans can say we need more and more and more tax cuts is utter ridiculous.
First of all let's get it straight. Biden didn't call anyone a terrorist. He didn't call the tea party members of congress a terrorist. He was talking about what was said at the meeting. Of course accuracy from the tea party when whining and playing the victim isn't to be expected. It has never been their MO.
