First, is there an app to make the chrome tab a clickable file menu for my bookmarks?

It seems like a logical place to store bookmarks within the tab itself. Or if not what is the best bookmark app?

Second what is the best social integration app for facebook, twitter, etc.

Any other essential apps, suggestions would be helpful.

Firefox is sadly a terrible browser at this point and having lots of problems.

On the top right, click the wrench, go to bookmarks, and select "always show bookmarks bar"
Now you can drag your bookmarks up there, or import them.

I used to not like google chrome because in Firefox, I can right click a tab and press C to close it... I couldn't do that in google chrome... until I discovered Ctrl W ... haha yea... I'm a newb :(

Google Chrome ftw, but let's not say Firefox is terrible, without firefox, there wouldn't be chrome

Been using Chrome since it came out. I think if you don't use Chrome your children should be sold into slavery.

At this point there is no reason not to be using Chrome.

My problem with firefox was that it was slow and it felt like it was going to crash any minute because of the code it was trying to process.

Chrome is so snappy and responsive, it is like night and day.

The other thing I didn't like is that firefox was locking up my computer when i played a utube video for any duration of time.

    It just seems really bad.

That's pretty weird. Maybe it has something to do with the hardware but chrome is lightning quick whereas firefox was a turtle for me. However my main problem with firefox is that every video i brought up was locking my computer up. I assume it was firefox because on other boards people were mentioning the same problem.

Google is the new Microsoft but worse as people trust them blindly and they care even less about your privacy or rights than Bill Gates.

Chucked bloated Firefox a few days ago in favor of Chrome. I miss the menu bar, but ah well. It is faster.

May be a stupid question, but I am new to chrome. I like my tabs to show under the bookmark bar I use. Is there anyway to move it from the top of the address bar to below the bookmark bar? In firefox you could right click the bar go to settings and move things around, I'm not sure how or if you can do this in Chrome.

Opera is still the lightest browser. Wait till opera 12 comes out with hardware acceleration.

    Game over.

I use Google Chrome extensively, but on all of my Android devices, I stick to Opera Mobile. Page rendering is really nice. I'm not to big of an Opera fan on the computer but 12 will be interesting.

I just love using Chrome due to some of the extensions. I use this application called DeskSMS that allows me to send/receive text message from either my G-mail/ Google Talk, and allows desktop notifications through Chrome

Chrome is nice if you are only using one or two tabs, but once you start opening up several, it becomes quite a resource hog.
