Surprisingly, Kwame Brown is nowhere on this list...
Blakely and Cousin probably won't make the team by the start of the season if there is one. The only guy we should focus on is Parsons, and he is on thin ice as well :\
The thread title seems misleading. Or maybe I'm just reading it wrong. This is the ranking of the 100 worst players. The Rockets have 3. There are 30 teams. Seems kind of normal that our likely 3 worst players be listed.
Kwame Brown isn't bad, he just isn't very good for a number 1 pick. Actually a pretty damn solid post defender/backup Center...
The Rockets listed aren't very interesting. I'm pretty sure that those polled know almost nothing about those players and thought about them even less. It's probably a pretty safe bet, though, that they aren't in the upper echelons of talent. I thought the more established names were more interesting, though given their ranking system it's all pretty subjective anyway. Former Rockets Luther Head, John Lucas III, Mike Harris and Jermaine Taylor. Once coveted players like Eddy Curry and Bobby Simmons. Asian sensation Jeremy Lin. And a bunch of centers who will could still get multi-million contracts today despite being in the list of worst 100 players.
Yeah. And seriously what do people expect out of a 2nd rounder in a weak draft and 2 D-Leaguers? I think the author got lazy.
Cole Aldrich is pretty bad on this list too. I'd like us to trade for him. It looks like if they start Harden at SG. They'll need a Bud or Dragic. I like dragic a lot but he will make 4-7mil on his next contract. Would you trade dragic for Aldrich? Giving Flynn / twill some pt and boosting value / see what they have? we have Flynn who was a lotto pick and showed flashes in his rookie year. We have twill who we kinda gave up a pick in a loaded draft for. And dragic could get an offer that may be to high for us next free agency? On the surface, it's a win for okc but it could potentially help us in multiple ways too.
