Yeah, after starring in that shetty Marine movie, he somehow thinks he's an actual marine now and salutes all day.
I think Cena worked in that bit solely because he was the straight man in the act, and CM Punk was sort of the lead or director. On his own, Cena just can't measure up to what Punk has been putting on lately. I can't believe how great he's been. The two have an amazing give and take because Punk is just doing a damn fine job. I was a big Cena fan, but now I hope he loses or turns heel Sunday. I think the WWE has introduced HHH into this to somehow maintain CM Punk and Cena as the top faces. That doesn't work. Someone has to turn. Hunter is boring as a face, and Cena is getting more hate than he knows what to do with. Something has to change. I say they move Cena to Smackdown if they want to keep him as a face. Turn Randy Orton heel, heck, somehow he and Christian could team up to take on Cena. Not only would that make Smackdown more watchable, but it keeps Cena and Punk as the top faces, instead of Cena and Orton.
Summerslam is tonight. CM Punk vs. John Cena - WWE Championship, Triple H is the guest referee Randy Orton vs. Christian - World Heavyweight Championship Sheamus vs. Mark Henry Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix - WWE Divas Championship Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, & John Morrison vs. The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, & R-Truth
predicted match order. Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, & John Morrison vs. The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, & R-Truth Sheamus vs. Mark Henry Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett Randy Orton vs. Christian - World Heavyweight Championship Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix - WWE Divas Championship CM Punk vs. John Cena - WWE Championship, Triple H is the guest referee two already happened... Opening match was pretty entertaining.
Mark Henry still wrestles??? Does he still go by that "strongest man in the world" thing or is it back to "sexual chocolate"?
worlds strongest man. I've lost count of how many heel/face turns he has in his career. currently working as a heel.
Okay, i see now. CM Punk will say he should have never won because of Cena's foot, or something like that. At least that's how the angle will go I suppose.
calling it..kevin nash is working for Triple H. And we get a new Vince/Stone Cold type feud between Triple H and CM Punk.
Yeh it goes two ways imo. 1. As you said, HHH set it all up with Nash and ADR as a way to keep the title off Punk or Cena. They might even start working together against the corporation, allows them to keep Cena face and keep Punk going. 2. Nash is just ADR's bodyguard and it was all his work. I think it's more likely the 1st one as this one doesn't explain the foot on the ropes bit.
I loved the ending, maybe biased cause Nash (along with Hall) were my favs growing up, but that was unexpected plus with Del Rio cashing in his MITB. I heard Del Rio's push was happening soon cause of their upcoming tour in Mexico. He was suppose to be pushed at WM but that was Edge's last match, then MITB PPV last month, but they gave Punk's push.
I thought the PPV was mediocre at best however the last two matches were fantastic. Got to say, Cena actually wrestled for a change and looked good doing it. I'll go with the Kliq coming back together, wouldn't surprise me to see HBK in a few weeks. Del Rio and Cena has been rumored for months and the Punk anti-establishment angle fits perfect with the Kliq.
