Yea I know exactly what you mean I was thinking about Rudy Gays injury and how that will affect drafting him

I think that you are placed at 2nd so that it would be easier to determine the order for the second round (and future rounds).

Player will be assumed to be healthy and near peak health.

They still have the normal wear and tear of a season but no season ending injuries.

Garnett still has bad knees and all though but it won't stop him from playing

i think we should assume the general injury history of the last 2-3 years. So accordingly, guys like oden, yao, etc arent going to make some miraculous recovery and play well.

but I will be placed at a disadvantage - I did not get a 2nd pick caliber player. Just let me stay at 8th.

If you miss your second pick, do you expect to just move up in future rounds?

and you keep saying you would have picked Wade instead of LeBron...if that is the case then you did kind of get a 2nd pick caliber player, because Dirk is not that far behind Wade....

I think instead of waiting for people to pick whenever they come back and get skipped, we should just give them a reasonable player.

24 people sounded like a good idea. Is there any way we can get this thread stickied to the NBA Dish section so people can't miss it?

alright...and who decides whose a reasonable player??

If i was picking after the guy who is about to be skipped, then I wouldn't want other to pick a "reasonable" player for him that I wanted!

I think people should still have control over who they choose... Why not just move them to the bottom of the draft order?

Agreed. Hate it when people sign up and then just bail.
