exactly, hence, "overplaying her hand". although i still think it was completely unnecessary for her to try and get him out anyway with this much time left. she was solidified in their 5 person alliance, which would be whittled down long before it got to 5 left anyway, and she was in good with every newb besides porsche. all she had to do was keep her dumb mouth shut and coast until final 5 at earliest.
It doesn't matter if you have the numbers, if you don't win hoh. I mean as much as the newbies wanted the black guy to stay, in reality it doesn't matter that much. Do you really think that porche or shelly or danielle are going to let jeff and jordan and rachel and brendan run the show? At some point it is going to be an individual game. Dominic is the best player so far, in terms of the social game. If dom gets the golden key this week he could run things with danielle
i think danielle has to make a move now....she's ranked #5 in a 5 person alliance. She'd have to dominate games in the very end to scrap out of that and that's nearly impossible when you're going up against 4 people with a combo of athleticism, brains, and dumb luck. Not to mention splitting up either couple is out of the question. Her best bet is to bump off J & J, so that she and dominic can take their place. At this point, all the newbies just plan on floating the rest of the way by sucking up to the vets. That makes them weak, easy to split, sway, etc...Dominic is the only one with any game and guts to make moves and that's why he's the perfect partner for danielle, to help her take the rest down....her only other option is Jeff, if jordan leaves, but Jeff would soon find out danielle wanted him out.
Did people vote for Brendan because they want to see good TV? Is this the dumbest set of new players ever? I don't know because Ive only seen a couple seasons... The vets are back and are going to run through the house... Morons man.
Im about to stop watching. Clearly that power of veto was hand picked for jeff to win. They know that nobody in the big brother house could beat jeff at 300 ball rolling contest. This is a stupid season.

Most competitions are usually tailor made for certain house guests. A few HG have brought up the same complaint in previous seasons. In any case, Adam still almost won.
Yeah the show obviously wanted the vets to remain/come back...I couldnt believe Kalia's decision. One of the worst in the history of the game, i think. It's pretty obvious they're not going to forget what she and danielle did and leave them alone. Horrible move. Same for Lawon. I dont understand the fear these people have....
What in the world was Lawton thinking?? His plan was to get himself put up, not let anyone know that he wanted to be put up, then get himself voted out so he could come back after winning a contest when he hasn't won a single competition yet? THAT'S your grand plan?? Dude wasn't even trying in that ball competition. I think he just wanted to be on TV for a few weeks and didn't really want to play the game. Then he got tired of it and wanted to go home, so he committed BB suicide. Agree with most that this is a pretty lame season. I'm sure the "voting" was rigged to get Braindead back in. Was there any doubt it would be him? And of COURSE it would be a physical competition to get back in the house giving him a clear advantage. I'll keep watching, but only so I can see Porche's boobs. I just caught up on this week's episodes... i guess i'm in the minority on this board...i really wanted brendan back b/c i wanted good tv for the rest of the summer... the newbies are all milkduds with no personality and add nothing to the show. once lawon was willing to get evicted, my dream scenario was that brendon would be america's choice, kill lawon in a physical competition, and the vets would come back to be the formidable team to pick off all the crappy newbies and Dani and then fight to the end for final 2... and it might actually happen!!! i am surprised, however, that America picked Brendan as well. i guess more people want drama (like me) than I expected. now i really hope shelly or adam wins the HoH so that we can finally figure out which side of the house they are really on (assuming Porsche the ultimate floater has floated back to Dani/gross chick)
I don't think Brendan and his prostitute girlfriend make for good TV. I have to admit though, that the new people don't deserve to win after the stupid moves they've made.
I guess it depends on your definition of "good tv" for a mindless show like BB, I want pure unadulterated drama, catfighting, yelling, screaming, the whole shebang. Brenchel brings that in spades... the newbies do not. Hence why I'm finding myself pulling for Brenchel to be on the show as much as possible. Once they are both gone this season will turn boring mighty quickly... I mean people like Adam, Lawon, and Porsche get maybe 2-3 minutes of screen time per episode... I'm assuming that means they do nothing of substance in the house to warrant being shown on TV... with Brenchel, Dani, Jeff&Jordan, and the HoH of the week - that's usually 85% of each episode.
Funny, I was just thinking he's an idiot. It didn't matter if it was a shopping spree for loud clothes competition, Lawon couldn't win against a bag of dirt with mr. potatohead parts. I don't care about the drama. I think it's been a decent season, and while I know that some people might prefer Brenchel's drama, they are the one thing that makes this season nearly unwatchable for me. Irritating and offensive.
Was good to see Reagan and Matt make an appearance.....they have more personality than all the newbies put together. I continue to be astonished that CBS couldn't find 8 applicants that were in some way compelling. I thought Shelly was here to reprise the Kathy role from last year.....but watching her run to tattle to the veterans 6 times an episode is not exactly Must See TV for me. Jeff who I liked last year is starting to get on my nerves with his "How dare you defy me!" attitude toward the newbies, but apparently its working because they are all falling all over themselves to decide who is going to be the veterans pet noob.
I think their big mistake was picking 2 intimidating couples to come into the game...I think the newbies just crumbled when they saw what they were up against...also, Dick would have blew things up, so his departure also hurt. As for nominations...if danielle wanted to take the deal with B&R, i think she should have put up Jeff and jordan or shelly..gotta break that trio up, starting with the strongest player, Jeff. If not, she should have put up Jeff and Brendon.
Dani screwed herself by trusting the vets. She had her chance again to put Brenchel up and didn't do it. Even though I can't stand that snake Shelley, she could of gone later.
The low point for me so far was when Kalia completely stopped competing in the one veto challenge to become Jeff's head cheerleader when he had pretty much blatantly told her he was coming after her and she wasn't likely to get back into his good graces. Unless there was editing and I missed a quasi-reconciliation it was a "no self-respect-get-out-the-knee-pads" moment. I really don't want to see any of the veterans win I figure the half million Jordan already won is compensation enough for being a really friendly, likable girl with a room temperature IQ. Brendan and Rachel get by on their ability to win competitions and the fact I think some of the other contestants fear for their lives/sanity if they separate them by voting one off.
