Weird, there's another European guy on this site who said in May of this year that <a href="http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=6139402&postcount=261">"Rubio is the worst player on Barca's team."</A> Yet he's their starting PG getting and played more total minutes than any other player on the team.

    ...Oh actually...you said that.

So, you are either wrong about Rubio being the worst player or wrong about Euroleague teams always playing their best players.

i honestly think ohmss or whoever is a troll. he dismisses almost every international player the rockets look at in the draft.

Idk guys. I watched the Lithuania vs Czech game and Don Motie looked pretty good out there. In the 1st half he played 4:47, scored 7 points and moved well on off
ense and defense. He seemed to be their primary scorer off the bench.

kind of surprised me that portland and san antonio didn't want this guy.
usually in retrospect, if PDX, SA, and HOU fight over someone on draft day they tend to turn out ok.

so, after insulting Rockets2K and being proven wrong by his own quotes, not surprising OHMSS has left this thread.

Rubio was NOT the starting point guard of Barca. Victor Sada was.

Wouldn't that make it OHMSS instead of OHMMS?

    ...stupid acronyms...

It seems more and more from all the recaps, videos, and translated interviews that DMo got cut because the team is stacked with bigs right now that have alot of years on Donatas.

Loyalty and seniority on a national team like Lithuania must go a long way. In a nation as crazy about basketball as them, I see now why he got cut. In no way, should it make the Rockets, and their fans feel any worse about the draft pick.

Wasn't Sasha Vujacic cut from the Slovenian national team? I see DMo marrying a hot chick.

Saša was cut for different reasons. He was coming off an injury and thought he should play major minutes for the national team, although he wasn't 100 % ready. The coaching staff disagreed and Vujačić left the team.

He's not as good as any of the other "bigs" on Lithuania's team. That is why he was cut.

Interesting... Donatas said the NBA game is more physical and faster... guess you were wrong again.

Haha. OHMSS was causing me to start doubting the NBA's validity... I'm so glad we have this cleared up.

The reason is obvious,he is soft. Unless he puts in a consistent effort on defense, low post positioning and rebounding,he won't amount to very much in the NBA.

Interesting...considering he has never played an NBA game in his life and played about 2 minutes in an entire season in the Euroleague.

He is thus a real expert on that.
