Sweet, my first anonymous "rep" from a coward who disagrees with me but lacks the balls to say it publically. I feel special.

IMO non-rich people all over the world are frustrated and on the edge. This is an excuse to let that frustration out. I have to say, I think it's a terrible reason/excuse/way to let the frustration out.

I don't if they were targeting Muslims per se from the article. They might have it just seems they were out to rob and these guys were trying to play hero unfortunately sometimes its a dangerous task. You can rebuild a store, but it doesn't make sense to go out and risk your life.

    These quotes seems troubling:

That man has an amazing amount of strength and character to come out and call for calm after his son was killed.

I wish more people would follow his example but even if I was in his place I doubt I would be so calm.

You said a mouthful right there.

And to this, the ruling elite say:

    Let them eat fast food!
They have their 24/7 sports, big-screen TVs, video games!
Let them have their Facebook, energy drinks, alcohol, tobacco!
The rabble mean nothing to us and are consumed with their own self-destruction.
We have twisted their moral system for 150 years.
They now believe that good character is a luxury car with shiny rims.
    Let them eat cake.

all of those things people do by their own choice. Whose fault is it that they make bad choices?

Agreed. But I'd argue that's cause to help, not castigate.

The difference being, of course, that when you're stupid and rich you don't really suffer for your stupidity. Hell, you'll probably even benefit from it.
