Disney is over-rated for adults. Havent had fun there in years. Bring back ASTROWORLD!

I couldn't disagree more. I went to WDEW for the first time a few years back assuming it would be no fun for anyone over 10. I left understanding why people go there on their honeymoon. Consider me a convert.

If you can't appreciate the attention to detail and cleanliness of a Disney park as a adult, you're not paying attention yourself.

The theming alone takes you to a whole different state of mind.

It's not going to be a "thrill ride" park like the coaster places that Six Flags or others try to be... but Disney blows all other theme park companies away when you consider the whole package.

There is a reason people come from all over the world to go to Disney. Quality is the main one, IMO.

I went to Disney World for the first time in maybe 10 years (been to Hollywood Studios and Epcot more recently of course) and found it more enjoyable than I expected.

Sure, it still has some of those antiquated carnival rides like Dumbo and the Teacups, but no where else can beat the escapism of Disney. Despite the long lines and big crowds, it was still relaxing in it's own way.

Sure was a lot of Brazilian hotties out there.

I met people from South Africa, England, Brazil. It was neat.

I had never been to Disney till this summer. I guess you don't realize its international appeal to you get there.

I disagree, I'm glad the kiddos had fun, I'd much rather be at Fiesta Texas. It was an overrated experience to me as an adult. The only thing I appreciated that it offered more than the normal theme park are the shows.

So you're saying you want alcohol?

    EPCOT or DCA has plenty.

Planning on going in December for New Years or right after Christmas and leaving right before New Years so only a couple of days. Anyone know how the climate is that time of year in Orlando? Parks still packed in December?
