Anyone else think that Sosa looks a little like Zeke Astacio .. similar stuff too with the good fastball w/ movement hopefully he turns out different tho....

What I like about Sosa so far is that he' s consistently getting ahead of the hitters...it's just a matter of finishing them. He's had numerous 0-2 counts tonight that turned into hits or HBP. I like what I see so far though.

Yea, he's been aggressive... I like his offspeed stuff... been getting lots of swings and misses with them.

Definitely some positives in terms of his pitches and mound presence.

Impressive debut for Henry...if Jimmy had come up with that ball in the 1st, it would have been a great debut.

I can't wait for Collmenter to get out of the game. Something about him bugs me!

Upton is a beast... and he'll get better.

Wilton's deal with the devil is done. He has a nice ERA but has allowed a ton of inherited runners to score this season.

Maybe next season, he'll have a high ERA but not allow a lot of inherited runners to score... so is the life of a middle reliever.

That was fairly pathetic... Fulchino had all day to negotiate and make a play.

Does anybody know if Sanchez had some kind of serious lower body injury earlier in his career? Maybe a knee or a hip? He just doesn't move well at all. Something awkward in his stride... almost like he's in slow motion or can't lift his legs properly. Noticed this about him from day one. Seemed to be moving a little better earlier in the season but still largely the same.

Yep, I believe he blew out his knee. I read it somewhere and have heard Brownie and JD mention it before...I look up the article.

Carlos has mailed it in for the season.

This reliever has some pretty wicked late movement on his pitches... a little Storen-like.

I thought I recalled something but wasn't sure if it was serious or not. That might explain a lot. I'd be interested in seeing his running prior to the injury.

I can't seem to find anything but I am fairly certain it was his knee. I also remember hearing or reading that he was pretty fast before the injury.
