Rogers would have scored there easily, how that is not a red card is unreal.....I really like the speed of the US and Donavan in the middle facilitating....

Probably '14 qualifying, which is going to be something like '12 i think, or early 13?

I'd have to look it up real quick.

Mexico got lucky, that game should have been the USA's ....missed a PK on Donavon in the box and a red card late too on Rogers breakaway.

After those subs, that is the best the USA has looked on the attack....gives me a little hope for the future.

And I love the SPEED that he put up top there.....give Donavon some speedy targets and look at him go.....

Qualifiers... if both US and MEX make it through their eliminations with lower seeds, or Gold Cup 2013.

I like how Klinsmann says "come on!"... did y'all see that?

    Wow...

1-1 is a great draw for the USA in this one. They did a great job down the stretch and if the ball bounced a bit differently we might have even seen a 3-1 USA win. I like the switches, I like Landon's presence, and I'm excited to see what they can do with Holden coming back.... Great game...

Y'all are lucky Chicharito didn't play and Gio only played 30 minutes. Yeah, that should have been a RED.

Holden and Dempsey were out for us, and agreed about the red, but what about the missed PK on Donavon, that was a foul in the box......

Still, I have been pretty down on the US team and their future, but with those young guys that played tonight...I think we are ok.

Because the US wasn't missing key players?:eek::confused:

Still a tale of 2 halves with this team. I think Klinsmann will get that corrected. I wasn't pleased with the central midfield in the 1st. Bradley, Jones, and Beckerman wasn't the best combo in there. All 3 playing defensively was the largest reason why there was no fluidity going forward. When the changes were made, things opened up. Donovan needs to play more centrally with the ability to run at the goal...not up and down the sidelines.

That's the first I've see of Shea and I was impressed. He wasn't scared or intimidated. Still not a big fan of Rogers but he did well in his time. The defense was ok. Considering the time of possession mexico had, they did well to keep them out of the box for the most part.

I'm happy with the result considering the situation. A win was well within the reach of the US. That ref has made so many mistakes. I've never seen him call a clean game. Obvious red card and penalty missed.

Good game, I too was impressed with Shea. Hopefully he'll get some more caps and we can see a bit more. Was disappointed with Agudelo's lack of touch in the box toward the end of the second half. Additionally, you could tell there was some rust on some of the players (Edson Buddle). I hope I never see Ricardo Clark on the national team again.

All in all, it feels great to have a coach who is visibly into the game. Jurgen said he had fun. I don't think Bradley ever has.

I like Rico Clark, but man, I don't want him wearing the Red White and Blue. I loved it when he kicked Carlos Ruiz, but no more caps for the USMNT.
