All right, including you on that post was excessive. I know that what you were saying earlier (while likewise ridiculous) was not the same as stobbart's call for extermination. It just fit well. Apologies.
IT'S **** ALL TO DO WITH BEING POOR. GET IT IN YOUR HEAD. They are CRIMINALS. Plenty of poor people who are NOT out rioting. I AM POOR, AM I RIOTING? NO, I WENT AND GOT A JOB AND EARNED MYSELF A LIVING!!!!! Don't try and tell me I should by sympathising with the scum that are destroying our country. There is no excuse. Look at the post DD just pasted, yet another person from Britain telling you the same that I am. This is no political protest of any kind, it is criminals running riot just because the are scum and just because they can.
I wonder what is going to push more support towards the BNP........the rioters and looters, or their sympathizers.
The rioters are aiming at the wrong target and doing it the wrong way. The people who want retribution against the rioters are victims of the rioters and deserve justice.
Correlation is not causation, but it's interesting nonetheless... Punish the criminals. You can't be this naive. Riots are most certainly political in origin, although I submit that they are generally ineffective as a direct method to promote change. Regardless, the violence is tragic.
Max Hasting's take: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-2024284/UK-riots-2011-Liberal-dogma-spawned-generation-brutalised-youths.html
I think I agree with this. But add that the situation hopefully will result in an analysis of policy priorities.

I heard a couple of the looters being interviewed on BBC radio, they basically said the only reason they are doing this is because they can and no one is stopping them. Plus, even if they get caught it will be their first offense so there will be no real punishment anyways. This basically won't stop until people other than the police start to patrol the streets and stand up to them. Easier said than done, I know.

What a shining example for us all to look up to. The dignity of this man shames all of the so called protesters.
