I'm not an advocate of harming the innocent or doing damage upon to others. I think that the riots served a purpose but now after watching the videos they are far out of control. Organized riots and protests are fine, whats going on now isn't.
Rioting and protesting 2 entirely seperate things. Protesting peacefully is fine. As soon as you start rioting, you have crossed the line and invariably, innocent people WILL be hurt, either physically or financially...
its good a thing football is starting back up because what would happen if there was nothing else to do?
I think the police aren't being aggressive because if something happen it will give them a very bad press leading up to the 2012 Olympics. I mean these idiots need to be put in their places. Once again police are of p***y here. They are pretty good at beating down normal demonstrators but chicken out against these kind of idiotic rioters who really need a beat down.
Or perhaps it's because the police are desperately trying to keep the focus on the rioters and not on the fact that some of their own murdered a man and started this whole mess.
You just convicted the police of murder, and the only evidence you point to is "At this stage there is no evidence that the handgun found at the scene was fired during the incident." I'll admit, I'm not familiar with English Law.......do the police need to be fired upon before they can fire back.
convict: transitive verb 1 : to find or prove to be guilty Did you not state that the police "murdered a man." The evidence you provided in your link certainly did not prove any murder, so we must assume that you alone found them to be guilty of this alleged crime.
Cute. I postulate they committed murder by any standard. 1) The first claim was that an officer was shot and returned fire killed Duggan. 2) Witnesses indicated they saw him pinned to the ground, and then shot execution style. 3) The IPCC now says "ummm oops, he did not shoot any gun". 4) Now police are saying they "thought he was drawing a weapon." Draw your own conclusions, preferably keeping in mind a similar recent event with the "traditionally corrected" police explanations (section 4 of the link).
I find that fairly disturbing that you are advocating turning in people for questioning the British Government.
you've cited zero 0 evidence that what happened at all was an execution style killing. Nothing, zip, nada. I also suggest next time you're feeling ballsy to go out in public, to go up to police officers, tell them you've been associated with known gangs, and then act like you're about to pull something out of your pocket. Let's see if they don't act first and protect themselves by shooting you in the ass.
how are the looters doing anything different than their british role models? that there british empire's the biggest looter in the history of civilization. the queen herself dons looted crown jewels. and fast forwarding to the present - london bankers & politicians raping their own people & foreign lands left & right
I've heard a plausible conspiracy theory that Rupert Murdoch orchestrated and incited the rioting to draw media attention away from the recent exposure of his criminal behavior.
BBC get's a news bit turned back on itself (you can find the video on youtube). The link makes a good point (in line with my posts above)...it's ok to accuse all the rioters of being simply greedy, destructive youth and argue for their incarceration, beating, or even death - but if we assert that the police unjustly killed a man we're suddenly "leaping to unfair conclusions"? Bull****.
Lets not forget that like drug gangs the British also went to war so they could sell opium to the Chinese.
