    1. I like the title of the article. It makes me feel that the writer is very hood and not a geek and therefore knows what he's talking about without citing advanced stats.

    2. Good to hear that Shawn Respert is working with Lowry instead of starving.

Repped. One of the best reads of this summer. I'm comfortable with this career backup guy as our leader.

"I think the team took on my attitude a little bit with how we were playing at the end of the year."

    Hell yes.

Glad he seems to be willing to put in the necessary work to become one of the leagues elite PGs.

At best he's at 10. You consider that elite? There's almost a 100% chance he never even sniffs an all star game.

most of the better PG's are several years older. when they get over the hill, k-low will still be in his prime. he has a chance.

There's no mention of his CoD Black Ops skills in that article. Lame! ;)

Westbrook, Paul, Williams, Wall, Rondo, Rose, Curry are all younger, same age, or one year older (williams is 2) than Lowry. That's not even including other borderline players like Lowry (Holiday, Conley, and Felton) who could still put up better numbers over the next few seasons.

I didn't want to add rookies right off the bat in case they don't pan out. But you're right, kids like Irving could easily come in a be a better PG, I'm sure he won't be the only one over the next 4-5 years either. Sadly there are way too many already elite PG's and future PG's for our boy Lowry to crack even the top 7 or 8. I still love him on our team, and think he brings a lot to the table.

Six of thoses players mentioned above are in the Eastern conference. Paul will likely end up out east. So who is he really competing with for an all-star nod.

Lowry is better overall than Curry and Conley. Nash and KIDD are super old.
Parker is getting old. Fisher is old. Ricky who? Baron is old, Mo?

Most of the elite or soon to be elite PGs are out east
The only Pg out west that you can say hands down is better than Lowry is Westbrook.
Remember, we are not just looking at pts and asst. Im talking defense and efficiency too.

Plays out East, would not hurt his chances of making all star

None of which matters to fans that vote the players in........so he will be relying on coaches to value his play.

He is still behind Nash and CP3 at least for now.

    word

you said it perfectly. especially the defense, which mostly goes ignored in most pg comparisons. all those better pg's arent really THAT much better overall. lowry can hold his own against anyone in the league. if lowry keeps working hard and improving, he could be an elite player himself someday. it's much too early to say that he will "100% never even sniff" an all-star appearance.

All I know is that Lowry tore up Rondo's anus last year, and Curry is just soft.

The rest of those matchups were battles, as Lowry was starting to put up solid stats, TO GO with his intangibles that are near unheard of at that position right now.

And Williams has historically gotten the better of Paul each time, but if you take a consensus, people will tell you Paul is the better PG when both are healthy. At the end of the day people will always look towards Rondo's assists, steals, shooting percentage and impact in the playoffs as to why Rondo is a much better PG.
