I don't think just a man-woman couple would be successful restarting humanity. Even if they made some progress, ultimately it is more likely to not be a success.

That said, since the future of humanity doesn't rest on this, I pick myself and any hot chick.

Now, if the future of humanity really was at stake, I'd pick myself and any hot, smart, and well suited for child birth/rearing chick.

Two people couldn't get it done.....but if we are adding myself and one female to a small breeding group (intelligence wise you could do worse than me, but my family does have some health red flags plus my weight and tendency toward addiction)....How about Danica McKellar...I could get it up for Winnie with no problem, and she is also a math genius, which combined with my language skills would have a shot for making a well rounded kid.
