To Dave: C'mon, dude. All you had to do was say, "Mad Max, I'm a big fan." Then proceed with answering his questions instead of talking basketball, but at least acknowledge to the man that you're aware of him and his accomplishments. To everyone else: Tinman is a real ******* Rockets' fan. Stop the hate. If you don't like him always talking about the championships in '94 and '95, feel free to talk about our championships before and after those years. We need something to feel good about, and a 22-win streak with a first round exit doesn't cut it for me.
Not sure why this thread was bumped. Thought Dave may have bumped it because Max called back. Guess not, some other chump did. Those Championships are from 15 years ago. I gurantee you nobody ever talks about that 1918 World Series title in Boston, unless it was Yankee fan taunting and chanting 1918. I bet you Cubs fan don't talk about that glorious win in 1908. Let's look forward.
That is because they are all dead, I guarantee they DID talk about them until they stopped breathing ! DD
What's so exciting about talking to a middle aged family guy that over uses cliches like "That's no moon!"?
thanks? aren't we still in the offseason? weird coincidence, quick story, about 10 days later, Aug 14 to be exact, I remembered cause it was my cousin's birthday, I saw Dream at Fry's over off of 59S/Beltway 8 while I was waiting in line. I brought up how I talked to Maxwell a few days before and he mentioned he hasn't talk to him in years. Didn't want to post about it, since it was a quick talk and some people here knew about it through my Facebook.
