This forum will also miss Landlord Landry. Just heard the news. It hurts.

Every time I hear Wilton Lopez' name, I will think of Landlord.

He made me laugh on many occasion, beyond just this forum. The kind of guy that could lift your spirit with 1 or 2 witty lines. Seemed like a genuinely great guy. Very sorry for those close to him. A real loss.

Dave Clark doesn't have a brain, so how can he possibly be expected to think?

With Crane coming in, I expect Clark to be gone. I have no idea why the organization was so in love with him.

I didnt take it as rude. Just general frustration.

Apparently, while I was away yesterday, Happy got sent down. Hopefully, a change in scenery will help him. Not sure that the guys called up will make things any easier though.

As far as rushing development, im no expert here. So I have to have faith in the braintrust at AA and AAA to know when guys are ready. I can kinda see how rushing a guy might backfire.

As the veteran player on this team, Barmes CAN NOT lose focus like that....simple inexcusable.

Didnt see the play, but thought it odd he would try to steal 3rd with 2 outs.

I guess the young guys already know how bad Clark is at third, so just ignore him lol.

Dave Clark must be to blame. I wonder what the sign for taking off too early for a steal is?

Not like they have to, but I think MLB teams are playing extra hard against the Astros because losing to us would be a major embarrassment.

Astros are a glorified AAA ball club.

I feel most teams play down to the level of there competition. They play bigger for the better clubs, and smaller for the lesser ones. In this light, I suppose it makes our club even worse than our record indicates. But in sports in general, I think this applies more often than a club giving it there all against weak opponents.

Id say the Stros are 3.5A. Down from 4A before the trade deadline.
