Anyone ever gone to one of these? Worth the trip over? I'm going to be in Houston for about 3 weeks, and would love to see the team. http://www.houstontexans.com/fan-zone/camp-practices.html
It's definitely worth it, although it's pretty darn hot. A few buddies and I entered a raffle last season for tickets, and we all got some. They have a lot of other activities to do, like meet some of the cheerleaders and win some prizes.
I got tickets an hour ago to the Friday August 12th practice. It said it was an 8pm practice but when I printed out the tickets it said 8am. Now I see they've updated that link to say 8am.
I went last year a couple of times it's fun I like collecting autographs and some guys sign, but like hou_rox said it is very hot no shade at all. They give out water and they have a lot of prizes you can win.
Damnit. I ADD'd and my ticket session expired. Now I'm in line. Damn you free agency and ESPN tweets!
Can't get through, still waiting in line. Looks like I lost out on the TIX. Damn, all I had to do was confirm too.
I got tickets to Fan Appreciation day. Hope to get AJ80 to sign my picture of him scoring the final TD in the Washington game last year.
Thanks man. Can't believe i let it time out. It's been an hour and it still says high traffic on the site.
I got 2 tickets in my name for 6th, 12th, 13th just for the fun of it... You can have one of my few morning training camp passes/ e-mailable tickets in August if you remind me
I have no idea what my browser on my PC was doing. Got on the xoom and was able to get some. Can't wait.
I went last year and there were no assigned seats just a few rows of bleachers by the main practice field where they occasionally scrimmage. It's pretty much a first come first serve with seats. On weekends I would get there early, if you want autographs, they have like a bingo drawing by the kids section where there was last year 100 total autograph balls per day. Some players sign autographs before and after practice between the middle crosswalk. There are like 4 practice fields that you can watch.
you registered for tickets to the event? or to an autograph signing/raffle? If you mean for the raffles, how and where do you register?
I was at the training camp. One in there, there aremany booths to register for free tickets to games etc.
