I think the republicans are going to blame obama and democrats are going to the republicans. When Obama controlled the house and senate he should have taken care of some of this stuff. He continually bent over for the republicans and he is going to get what he is going to get.
Of course Obama and the Democrats will be blamed by the GOP, but in my opinion, the public is going to place the lion's share of blame on the Republican members of Congress and the "tea party." Call it an educated hunch, if you like, but that's my feeling in the aftermath of this debacle.
I also hope it has much larger political implications and I hope it does create some sort of change...but I'm not holding my breath.
