I thought it was definately a weak ending [7/10] I would be interested to see a Captain America Versus Wolverine Movie set in WWII [Bone Claws] Rocket River
I Love You Phillip Morris (2009) - Very interesting movie based mostly in Houston starring Jim Carrey as real-life con man Steven Russell, I had heard of it because of my former wife's obsession for male homosexuality. I felt that the movie was very strong most of the time. If you don't like teh gheyz then this probably isn't for you. I'd say its like Catch Me if you Can meets The Birdcage. Very strong performance by Jim Carrey. 7.5 / 10
Crazy, Stupid, Love: 7.5/10 A little dragged out and the comedy basically ceased in the 2nd half, but one really funny scene kind of saved it. Zookeeper: 4/10 I wish someone would give Kevin James a slightly different role, with some better content/situations to work with. I think he could is a lot funnier if put in more grown up situations and not made out to be such a softie.
Layer Cake 7/10 I know it's supposed to be a fast-paced crime thriller akin to Guy Ritchie movies but their no character development at all and I can see the twists coming from a mile away..even the last one. Fun but forgettable.
Cowboys and Aliens 6 out of 10- I don't know anything about the source material, but this definitely suffered from "Too many subplots syndrome". 3/5ths through the movie, it comes to a complete stop while it decides which of 3 movies it is going to be. And it ends up trying to be them all. Craig and Ford are good, the effects fine. Watch on big screen for matinee price if you must.
The Social Network, ...never saw it at theaters because I thought this was going to be just a dumb tribute film for facebook. and it not only was nearly opposite of that, it blew me away with the overall quality . . .A fantastic movie that makes you think about your own social values. . . 9.5/10
My god, where did you come from! ;-)- Yeah, that was a terrific flick. The acting was outstanding. The dude that played "Guy who Ripped Off everyone to Make a Killing" deserves a role as a bad dude in next year's sequel to Game of Thrones on HBO. Have you seen that? Good to hear from you, ROX.
Rango 7.5/10 I know this movie had been out for a while, but I rented it on demand and it turned out to be pretty good. A lot of good Johnny Depp references from other movies (i.e. dazed and confused). I thought it was going to be a kid movie, but actually turned out to be really entertaining, and the CGI animation was pretty legit as well.
Get a few more birthdays, graduate high school, and then come back. Stop trying too hard to look ignorant.
I watched THX 1138 last night for the 1st time. It had a real 1984 feel, but just a little less dark. It's always kind of interesting to go back and watch futuristic movies from the past and see how art was incorporated into these early movies as opposed to the high-budget eye candy that's produced nowadays. I give it an 8/10 and applaud George Lucas' first effort.
Apparently birthdays now are something you "get" and not "have" Maybe you should stop trying so hard to sound smart, you obviously haven't picked it up yet.
lmao, get birthdays. That's one of the most fail attempts at a 3rd grade insult I've seen in a while. Please respond so I can get more laughs kid.
