    The astros management is god awful be thankful Ed Wade doesn't work for the rockets.

    umm, that pink is just awful.

    Hunter was a joy to watch, goofy routes and noodle arm and all. Best of luck until you play the Astros.

    I know we needed to trade him...and I'm happy with the return.

    But I have to say...seeing Pence in a Phils uniform bothered me a lot more than seeing Berkman in pinstripes and Oswalt wearing a Phils uni. Pence was endearing as hell. Just a really good guy. I'll be rooting for him.

    Most definitely. Wouldn't be surprised if Pence carries the team offensively the rest of the season. I'm still mad we had to trade him :(

    Utley, Victorino, Howard, etc...

    Pence is the 4th best hitter on the team at best. He certainly won't carry them. Best case, he provides a little boost from the right side. Worst case, he goes into a deep slump which he is prone to do given the type of hitter he is. He can hurt you in the field at times as well. One thing is for sure: he won't take plays off and he'll always have a good attitude.

    It was terrific that we traded him. Great move for the future. Could Wade have gotten more? I don't know... still the right move.

    I'll be pulling for him to do well regardless.
