Another thing that Owen Daniels mentioned today was that Toliver was not shy about asking guys questions and trying to learn. At least he's shown a good on-field attitude so far.
even with the attitude, it is shocking he didn't get drafted considering his size and is a pretty good athlete...although some of his measurables at the combine werent that great. Speaking of measurables...Dorin's vertical is 43.5
You mean to tell me that this offseason, the texans drafted for need, went after and ultimately signed big name FAs, AND disregarded attitude for potential?! What is this feeling?
Texans daily http://www.houstontexans.com/tv-med...guidance/f0ec3a90-6fff-4ae1-9c68-b2b1a67298c3 Love Vickers attitude and how he approaches the game. Consider me a fan already.
"I love the fullback position, because it's a position where it's gonna make you either a man or a coward. One of the two. And so, I'm gonna be a man." - Lawrence Vickers
Anyone know where they make that pizza burger looking thing that keeps showing up as an ad? Urban delights is just the coupon place right? I want that burgar pizza thing so bad!
Vickers has a warrior version of Foster's attitude. He doesn't seem malicious but you know people won't be wanting to collide with this guy on the field. Battlefight Vickers!
...sent shivers down my spine. Vickers is an absolute SAVAGE, I can't wait to see him thump some fools while lead-blocking for the league's best back.
For any of you worrying about Vickers replacing Leach, got this info off another forum: Peyton Hillis had 11 rushing TDs last year, 10 of which were behind Vickers and 1 when Vickers was off the field. Arian Foster had 16 rushing TDs last year, 13 of which were behind Leach and 3 when Leach was off the field. Conclusion: Vickers was every bit as responsible for Hillis' TDs as Leach was for Foster's.
What about just opening up holes (that's what SHE said) for Foster to gain yards and control the game clock?
how many years has it been since Swoly finished a sentence with interjecting tired Michael Scott quotes?
Lawrence Vickers on 610, awesome interview as always! http://houston.cbslocal.com/2011/08/04/vickers-is-ready-to-lead-the-way/ "Once I hit him, I throw my hands up. I know it's touchdown" lol
With Jerry Jones as owner, no. With Uncle Bob as owner its a life time guaranteed contract extension.
