One thinks he has all day to throw and the other thinks he can fly....Should be an entertaining camp battle for the No.3 spot....I wouldnt miss a Giants preseason game for the world
Yikes. Thats a bad contract even by Raider standards. Oh well, thankfully they didnt overpay Stanfo... errr nevermind.
Huff is one of those guys, as a Longhorns fan, I just simply can't talk bad about... and he's put up two solid seasons in a row so I think he has earned himself a fairly decent contract. But $32 mill over 4 years? That's crazy.
The Eagles still have over $4 million in cap space and could get more by in crafty ways. I wonder if they have enough to get DeSean in camp.
As stupid as the FO can be, at least we have an awesome coach and a stud RB (or 2) If we can sign Kevin Boss to replace Miller I'd feel a lot better about the season.
He's not really a guy who strikes me as consistent as Miller, but he seems to be a better target in the red zone, which is pretty important to have for an offense that is vertically challenged.

Clearly you don't understand the difference between hope and blind optimism. McFadden is a certified beast, Bush is a backup who could start for more than a couple teams, and Hue Jackson is the first coach hire I've been excited about since Gruden left. Michael Silver agrees on Jackson and he's usually very critical of Oakland. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ms-silver_hue_jackson_right_as_raiders_coach080111 Losing Miller sucks, but Kevin Boss IMO would be a decent replacement.
incarceratedbob incarcerated bob **UPDATED NFL NEWS**Source: Kevin Boss is leaning towards the Raiders he is however giving the Giants a 24-48Hr time period 2match offer
Did we not learn anything about reading incarcerated bob during the FA frenzy last week? That is obviously a stab at credibility since there is a good chance he is going to the Raiders or Giants. 24-48 hr window? lol. That's an awfully big window for a deadline. Why wouldn't it just be a 48 hr deadline? That'd be like me saying (a few days ago), Lawrence Vickers is leaning toward Texans, but waiting 2-3 more days to field offers.
The Raiders need him big time, they don't even have another TE on the roster with a TD catch. It will be a matter of how much cap space they can clear up by tomorrow afternoon.
players want to get on with training ASAP. Past seasons players could wait longer, this season is a bit more trickier because if they don't get a contract now, they might not get a juicier one in the next few years. And obviously the time to get ready for this season is shorter.
Can things get any worse for the Bengals? If Dalton/Green don't blossom they are looking at another decade of Bungle.
