After the Vickers move I believe we were A-....didn't address an upgrade at #2 WR but retained Jacoby and addressed everywhere else now time to prove it on the field

Did I miss the memo where Houston now = HST instead of HOU?

Or the general public likes it too... and started betting heavy on the Texans, thus Vegas has to change the line.

As of this morning, there are five teams over the salary cap: OAK $15.25 mil; PITT $8.5m; DET $7.8m; DALLAS $6.7m: HOUSTON $3.25m.

I wonder how they shed million overnight, or if McClain had no clue what he was talking about...

What the hell is Oakland doing? They didn't even sign anybody.

McClain makes it sound like we're under the cap now...

The Texans have redone the contracts of Andre Johnson, DeMeco Ryans and Antonio Smith to get under the salary cap. They were $8.5M over.

Andre and Demeco got big deals last year, so it was both gracious and reasonable of them to do that. Smith was just flat out overpaid, so that was justified either way.

We have Dorin Dickerson who people are projecting to have a good season given the oppurtunity and also the UDFA out of LSU Terrence Toliver. They are both doing pretty well in training camp.

A little while ago on 610, Owen Daniels mentioned Toliver as a rookie who is standing out and has a chance to make the team. I think several days ago Andre mentioned that he was surprised by how tall Toliver was.

How many WRs will we carry? Andre, JJ, Walter, Dickerson, plus one more?

I would say 5 total. AJ, JJ, Walter, Dickerson and Toliver would be my guess.

I think Holliday's days are numbered since all he does is return kicks and we just signed Manning who is already a proven kick returner. Not much room for 1-trick-ponies on this roster.

Does anyone know why Tolliver went undrafted? Based on his height and early camp reviews it sounds hard to believe he could have made it past seven rounds. Was there a single red flag that teams keyed off on? Or are the rest of his measurables (college stats, combine numbers) lacking? I hope it was just something non-football related like an arrest for mar1juana possession or having a couple of baby-mamas barking at him in Baton Rouge. Ok that's a heartless thing to say but seriously I can't look this info up myself since I'm in China and half the sites are blocked (but not Clutchfans! thanks for the bribe Clutch). So someone please help me out here because this guy sounds like a stud otherwise, I need a little reality check to keep my hopes realistic.

Attitude was apparently an issue. He was cited for his role in a bar fight in 2010. He's got good speed and is big but the knocks on him were immaturity and that he isn't physical.
