That's pretty cool... If you didn't catch it, Lyles told JD how he was really wanting his 1st win. JD then told Lyles he'd hit his 1st HR in Lyles' next start and help him get the win.

It's an extreme example but remember when the Astros almost made up about 8 games on STL in the final two weeks of the season a few years ago? If there is a team that has the potential to go on a serious run and turn things around quickly, it's the Reds. They have 3 teams ahead of them but I'd wait a few more weeks before putting a tombstone on their season.
Their problem is pitching, that team and the 2005 team flipped the switch with DOMINATING pitching. I don't trust the Reds pitching so their offense has to wake up a bit. I know their a good offense team but much like the 2004 Stros team, they were so inconsistent until they went on their run and started to pound teams.
