i ruled out the rookies just because it's a long shot for a 3rd round rookie to get the starting job.

Not to be a stickler...but I've seen this posted several times this offseason by a few people. Kareem played CB2 behind Glover last season. He will actually be targeted even more this time around bc opposing teams will avoid Joseph more than they avoided Quin.

 

Disagree. Molden is garbage. It's between Kareem, Carmichael, and Harris, IMO. The last two have been showing some good moves already (something Kareem didn't really show in camp last year).

Molden would be further down on my list as well, but I really don't see a rookie starting at CB again. That just doesnt happen very much with good results.

 

And a competent coaching staff. Who won't tell him to line up with his back facing the sideline.

 

i have no clue about vickers, but the reports say he is a top FB. so how big of a drop off is it from vonta to vickers?

very marginal. Vonta is probably a better lead blocker (he is probably the best in the business) but Vickers isn't far behind.

 

Not much. Arian's ridiculous season and the whole "Leach to the beach" campaign really drove up his hype/price. Also, if I remember correctly, he blew some guy up on a FB dumpoff on national TV.

Hillis also had a great season, but I barely heard anything about Vickers. The only reason I know anything about him is because the Browns are my team on Madden (after the Texans, of course)

 

Very happy with Vickers. Love the guy's play and his personality.

I hope Gary is as creative as we like to say he is and finds a way to utilize both Vickers and Casey. With no true 2nd receiver, I'd like to see Casey and Owen both utilized in the passing game significantly.
