the fact that warren has left to go to his next city shows me that the texans won't be signing him.. either they didn't want to fork up the cash or they saw something they didn't like with his health.. maybe they just want to go w/ watt and smith, which is fine with me. so how do the texans get to the playoffs? 1. overtake the colts and win the south. 2. get a better record/win tiebreaker than the following four teams for the wildcard. -patriots -jets -steelers -ravens the afc north and east sent the wild card teams last year. what is the more probably route we will have to take? in all honesty i think we need to beat the colts to get into the playoffs. i don't see NE/NYJ/PIT/BAL falling back at all.

That's changed the last few seasons. It's been a joy watching him get a pass or two. First you see Vonta run to the outside, but he doesn't run out of bounds, but straight into whoever is trying to tackle him. And then you'd hear the commentators laugh about how he loves to make contact. He saved us one time last season on an onside kick too.
Asante would be a HUGE addition if there was anyway we could get him. The guy is an above-average corner and brings that winning mentality that this franchise needs. We need someone who is proven and been to the big games before. I think one of our biggest weaknesses is lack of veteran experience in the big moments. We need a guy like Asante who can stay composed and keep the rest of the team under control.
How in the world could we land Samuel? No way are giving our best linebacker and top TE for him. A future 3rd pick and Slaton? I doubt they bite on a package like that.
