Hello clutchfans. As the title suggests, I need help finding a great ps3 game which focuses heavily on story and is medium in length. I also don't want a fps. I don't mind action in a game, I actually prefer it but I would like the game to have a story along with action as well (uncharted 1 and 2). Games I have already played include: uncharted, bioshock, la noire, cod mw2, assassins creed 1 and 2, dragon age origins, megal gear solid 4, and heavy rain (maybe my favorite ps3 game ahead of uncharted)
God of War 3 would be perfect for you. it probably would be best if you played the first 2 first, but still a great game on its own.
I got bored of that game after an hour of playing. The gameplay is pretty much all button-mashing. And you definitely need to play 1 & 2 to know what is going on in the story; I didn't play 2 and I had no idea what was going on.
Forgot to mention that id played rdr. Not really a fan of the gow series but can anyone second mass effect 2? I've heard good things about it.
Shadow of the Colossus was a great game for the PS2. it is being rereleased with Ico on PS3. i haven't played Ico but SotC is definitely worth playing.
i bought Mass Effect 2 because everyone said it was so awesome but i found that game boring and never completed it. Too many side quests that dont offer anything to the story.
oh yea .. cant believe you havent tried Infamous.. get it for free too!! it was part of the PS offer for the PS Network being hacked.
Damn, was going to suggest Heavy Rain, but you've already played it. I agree it's a phenomenal game and is for me, my 2nd favorite of this generation (Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the win). I would suggest "inFamous". You could probably get it for $5.
Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas or Even Elder Scrolls Oblivion. Bethesda almost never makes a game that I don't like.
You cannot top Uncharted 2. If there is one game you MUST play on PS3 this is it. Demon's soul does not have much of a story line but it is an incredible game.
