I have heard those reports saying that the Eagles are referring to themselves as the Dream Team but have yet to see a player, coach or member in the organization say that and if 1 person does they don't speak for the entire team.

For all of those concerned about the Eagles salary cap numbers here is a quick tidbit of information.

For the 2011 season, the Eagles were $43 million under the cap before diving into free agency. Even with Babin, Asomugha, and Jenkins, I'd say they still have a lot of room to work with Vick, Jackson on long term deals and more free agent signings. We will see though.

By making the trade above, it is reported the Eagles cleared another $2 million off the salary cap.

There are several reports that the Eagles may be eyeing Plaxico too. I wouldn't look for them to spend big at linebacker. If you've followed Reid the past 12 years, you know he doesn't value the position.

Vince Young was the one who said it. But yeah, a back-up QB doesn't speak for the entire team. Even as a Cowboys fan, I really have no problem with what the Eagles are doing. Ever since McNabb was traded and Dawkins left, I actually have nothing against them anymore. And if the Eagles do end up in the SB, I'd gladly root for them.

The Eagles have always been my NFC team but Mike Vick is an injury waiting to happen. Just my hunch..

Now the Jets are closing in on a deal for their free-agent cornerback Antonio Cromartie.

At the end of the day, money talks. Cromartie could be as ticked as he wants, but if the Jets are offering him a good amount of money, he'd be foolish not to take it. They're his best chance of winning (unless of course he chose to come here instead ;)).

James Jones reportedly agrees to resign with the Packers with a 3 year deal. I am glad he didn't end up in NY. I am still interested to see how Plax fits after being away for 2 years but he is a huge target.

Packers are still a legit threat with their QB, WR's , secondary , front seven. Even their TE is one of top young players in the league.

Packers vs Eagles would be an epic NFC champ game.

If the Jets don't win the SB(barring injuries) then the NY media and the fans are gonna tear Sanchez apart. No more excuses. It's his 3rd year, with solid RBs in a heavy run system, with a good Ol-ine and a scary D.

    Dont sleep on the Saints.

improved defensive line(Shawn Rogers, Cam Jordan), added fabin washington(to replace randall gay), mark ingram, sproles... the saints are gearing up for a run. filled in every need they had while retaining virtually all their own free agents besides bush..

all this hoopla about the eagles taking the nfc is making me chuckle
