What would you consider killing it? It is pretty well known that singleton is their best hitter and cossart was their best pitcher.

Just because they were the best the Phillies had to offer doesn't make them good. Both have very underwhelming stats at A ball.
Singleton is young and so is Cosart. An 800 ops at 19 years old in a pitchers league in high A ball isn't anything to scoff at. Cosart has said he's been told to pitch to contact this year in order to go further in games. He struck out 77 in 71 innings last year. Guy has a big time arm period.
I put this in another post. He had 77 strikeouts in 71 innings last year. He has said that he has been told to pitch to contact more to go further in games this year. He routinely sits in the mid 90s. He hit 98 at the futures game.
What did you expect to get for Hunter? We got TWO top 45 prospects for an above average player...check out what the Pads got for a Superstar this winter.

Cossart has pitched all of 200 innings of minor league ball, he is 21. A lot of the rankings are based on his stuff. He could pan out or he could fizzle. But he does have enormous talent. Singleton is a stud. He is young and improving.
really disappointed in the trade......basically a 2 for 1 trade with pence being a very very good player and cosart and singleton are struggling in freakin Single A......where the hell was the bidding war....ed wade is trash and need to fire his ass so he can go back to philly.......u had eight team interested and u only came away with 2 players not even in the top half of baseball america 100.....wtf.... I thought early reports had cosart, singleton, AND dominic brown and they were tryin to flip brown to NY for one of their top pitching prospect Betance..... Seeing that list i really want vizcaino or delgado .. hopefully we can get one for Bourn ... maybe the other ptbnt in the pence deal was a phillies draft pick .
