From the looks of things, I think he is being pulled from the game.

It's a relative term. The Astros have little high-end minor league talent, but what they do have is in Corpus right now (or at least what's left of it after Altuve and now Martinez have gotten called up).

Hunter is going out again, terrified.

Yea, this is so sad, Hunter wanted to be here...cruel part of the game.

He's going to a much better team with a chance to go all the way. I'm sure he's sad now, but he'll get over it fast.

Was Hunter crying? At least he's going to a better team.

This hurts more than Berkman. Berkman gave up on himself and the team towards the end of his time here, but Pence played hard day in and out.

Maybe a tear and a mouth clench but he'll get over it pretty quickly. He was loyal and cared about the team. Good to see.

Shortstop, third base, and left field have been pretty weak for them this year. Rolen has been a good deal worse than last year due to injuries, etc. But having Votto and Bruce will make any offense legit. They just don't seem as fearsome as last year.

    100% Fail. Try again.

Berkman was here longer, was a better player and he's just as loyal and as good of a person.

Tough to see Pence go. I know its a business and all that. And I feel we got a good return. But you get attached to some players. And Pence had become one of them for me.

Got to be very emotional for him about this moment. Kinda glad im only seeing a gamecast and missing his reaction. Would be hard to watch.

Good luck Hunter. Hope you help your new team to the world series.

man, i was thinking the exact same thing. that was saddest **** i've seen in a while. wasn't as upset with roy or berkman, and they were both way better and had been here for way longer.

good luck, hunter. i'll be rooting for the phils to win it all this year, that's for sure.

Every team has weaknesses. Their offense is the best in the NL, esp. now that Berkman is hurt.

Nothing wrong with adding more to something that is elite but pitching and defense should be their primary concerns.
