    No, but I said that because that's where I use it. I know it's in UNIX-like systems... but for me it's always Linux. Didn't mean to mislead. Hey, you SUN guys are cool with me, too. :p

    Yeah, one company I was working for wanted to do something like this and I told them absolutely not.

    They wanted to limit internet activity etc....it was like a punch in the face of morale....just stupid.

    No kidding. It doesn't reward productivity or efficiency- just encourages mediocrity so you don't get singled out as a slacker for getting finished early.

    You think you can take access away from programmers like me? bwaahahahaaa We gave access to you, to do our busy work. And to "lock us out" of sensitive systems to give us an alibi.

    Remember, we wrote the languages, compilers and, ultimately, the OS that you are administrating. But lump us anyway you want. We don't get offended like you IT guys, because without us, everything would stop.
