Now the Texans are just being greedy EDIT: In regards to Peyton Manning, I wanna say he restructured his last deal to take less money to open up space for the Colts, so maybe he feels like this huge contract is owed to him. It's impossible to pay guys like Peyton Manning market value, so what can you do?
He's actually been in the know for most of this FA. He works for Sirius. Edit: And yeah, he knows we have. He's negative on the Joseph contract.
PaulGrecoRadio Paul Greco Hearing #Texans once again making strong push for Nnamdi Asomugha but also hear #Cowboys are too. #Jets were you at? 12 minutes ago Keenan Hunt KeenanHunt2 Keenan Hunt @ @PaulGrecoRadio After getting JJ and D manning, Texans still in it for Asomugha? @KeenanHunt2 crazy right? But my contact in #Texan camp says yes
It would have to be Andre agreeing to take a major pay cut, otherwise I don't see how it is possible, unless there are things we just don't realize about the current contracts and the cap.
I would feel kind of guilty if the Texans got Nnamdi, Joseph, and Manning all in 24 hours... A good kind of guilty though.
Well if they did they could obviously pull it off, or if Mario signs a new long term deal. That in fact could happen because you could drop his cap number big time if he'd sign a new contract. I'd say this is the longest of long shots, but there are conceivable ways they could do it. I'm not opposed to trading Mario for picks by the way, signing Banta-Cain and then Aso.
