All it took was 6 failed years and their jobs finally being on the line for them to make some splash signings. Next priority....re-sign Vonte...

Ha, I actually thought about it. I talked to him for a few minutes. He said he's fully recovered and ready to go. I told him about manning and I don't think he knows who he is, haha. I could tell he was trying to act like he thought it was a good signing. The guy is a monster. Couldn't believe how big he is.
I saw this guy last month his arms are bigger than my head, only fear is he could be "over-trained." If healthy he is going to tear it up this year.
Sure...this year. What about last year in a cap-free season? Or the crap signings we've had in the past that gave us a lack of space? Either way... just glad we may finally have a relevant football team in Houston again. Let the "Bring back Vonte" campaign begin!
It took a couple hours to read through this damn thread, so I might as well post. Pretty stoked about the 2 moves. Like most everyone else, I was willing to go all-in on Nnamdi. But, I'm glad the Texans realized that Nnamdi wasn't looking to come here (which is understandable) and snatched up the 2nd best corner for less money. I actually think Joseph has a chance to out-perform Nnamdi over the life of their contracts, given their age and how JJ is on the way up compared to Nnamdi being at the top for a few years now. Adding Manning is just icing on the cake. I was resigned to Sensabaugh being the automatic move at safety (and not looking forward to it). To come out with Manning instead, who is better and can return kicks, is awesome. This has to be the best day in Houston FA since Clemens and Petitte signings (on different days, I'm sure).
special, special day in texans history. the *impact* of this is like when drabek and swindell signed on the same day. except, it'll turn out way better
