Anyone plan on going? Should be a great show between 2 of the most highly recognized rappers out there.

Best version I could find was a live version.

    Otis featuring Otis Redding

The official single can be heard here

Jay-Z fell off a long time ago. He was good back in the day.
Kanye is just an idiot. He's like the T.O. of the singing world. People like him because he's incredibly (and entertainingly) stupid.

Kanye is one of the best musicians in the industry today.

Real talk. I'll take it one further and say he is THE most overrated rapper ever.

Jay-Z is above-average. Kanye is a talented producer. Mixed them both and you get some pretty good music.

And you sir are overreacting just a smidge, with that remark.

No doubt he fell off majorly but to say he's the most overrated rapper ever just overlooks a whole host of rappers on both coasts(we'll ignore the south for now).

Half of the people that talk about Jay-Z don't what the **** they're talking about. Fact.

Kick back and let Reasonable Doubt ride on your ipod. Learn how to appreciate musical excellence.

Umm...his fans like him b/c the guy produces good albums. You're probably one of those who just follow Kanye on the news (and he can be an idiot), and don't actually listen to his music.

Well....how many rap concerts have you been to recently?

Well, that depend on what you consider jumping the shark.

Rap/hip hop is far behind rock, in terms of popularity, but it's right there with R&B and Country. It's certainly here to stay.

Repped! Pretty sure most in this thread are either hard core rap haters or top 40 listeners.

I went to one rap concert in my entire life back in 1999 in Houston/Compaq Center when Master P and the no limit Soldiers headlined with Three Six Mafia... I survived that **** and I was a pale skinned dude that does not look urban at all and the height of Rap music back then was electrifying... It sure was ghetto as **** but the music was raw than a MOFO!!!!
