Aso was paid 16 million/year last year. Texans offered him at least 12-14 million. Joseph gets $10 million/year. The only way Nnamdi takes that little is if he takes a pay cut to play for the Jets.
i have a feeling they go with sensabaugh and then use the rest to sign leach and other fill ins. But who knows. It depends on what manning and landry get offered. I have a feeling they will get bigger deals elsewhere
What the hell are you so mad at for you Cowboy fan? 48 mil is a great contract for a top 5 corner. <iframe width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/CFDAKUN2to8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Would you like so more cheese with that whine?
What's the frustration? That Nnamdi didn't accept the Texans 12-14 million/year? That the Texans did't up their offer to 17 million/year for a guy who is totally iffy on whether or not he wants to come here? It takes two to tango... Nnamdi hasn't gone out of his way to show any interest or desire at all to come here, while we KNOW he is willing to take less (but not that much less) to go to the Jets (otherwise they wouldn't even be in the discussion). If Nnamdi really wanted to be here, he would have accepted our offer.
I think he means the initial disappointment of not getting namdi. i was like that too, but now that it sinks in, it doesnt seem like a bad deal at all.
Yeah. Nnamdi is a 10, we got a 7. I'm disappointed. That doesn't mean I don't like Joseph or that I'm mad we have to restructure every contract in the United States to fit him in.
I hope Asomugha goes to TB, that'd make me feel much better, makes sense since they are required to spend money.
