He's such a d-bag. Every time I see what he has to say, I literally shake my head. Every time.

Jonathan Joseph's contract with the Texans is 5 years worth $48.75 million with $23.5 million guaranteed, signing bonus of $12.5 million

Pretty much what I expected for a top corner.

Sounds about right. He got basically a Dunta deal minus a year.

He was expected to get 50 million at the start of this FA spending spree. He ended up with 48.

Texans didn't overpay or underpay... they just paid.

wow. I was thinking they'd be in the $10 range at min. Still paid a bit premium but they got a damn good corner and have money left over.

True. But I think he is a lot better than post injury Dunta.

Does the bonus come out of either the 48.75 or guaranteed 23.5??

You realize that Reevis signed for $11 mil a year and Aso is going to get something like that right?

He signed for nearly Aso money.

Yep. A cheaper contract for a better player. I'm liking it.

Under 10 million per year, sounds fine by me. Leaves us money to go after Manning and close the deal with him.

Sensabaugh, Manning or Landry? I wonder who they will sign next?

Joseph is a top 6 or 7 cornerback probably. You had to pay good money for him. Dunta got pretty much the same money last year and not the same type of player after his injury.

it may be aso money...but it would be aso taking a pay cut to play for the jets. No way he signs for anyone other than the jets for that money.

Yeah and he is almost as good as Nnamdi Asomugha. Asomugha is 30 years old and Johnathan Joseph is 27 years old.
